KPMG has been recognised for its ability to help clients boost performance and increase transparency across public sector organisations after winning a prestigious award in the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) annual ceremony, held in London.

KPMG picked up its award in the ‘Performance Improvement in the Public Sector’ category, for work undertaken on behalf of West Midlands Police. KPMG’s team was recognised for the way in which they changed the structure and operational approach of a public sector organisation, improving service levels whilst reducing costs. KPMG was also highly commended in the ‘Customer Engagement’ category for the way in which the firm created an innovative way to capture customer experiences to improve customer services at RBS. The win also highlights KPMG’s ability to help clients ready themselves for recovery whilst maintaining a steady ship during the current economic uncertainty. Commenting on the wins, Michael Robinson, KPMG’s UK Head of Management Consulting, says: “I am immensely proud of the teams at KPMG who have been recognised by their peers for their excellent work. Through this year’s MCA awards they have been held up as the blueprint for exceeding client expectations via delivering leading edge consulting engagements.” Now in their 16th year, the MCA Awards are the benchmark of quality within the industry, showing how clients and consultants can work together to achieve better results.
