  John Yoshimura, AT Kearney managing director for South East Asia, speaking at the CII Outsourcing Conclave said that he expects US jobs worth $150 billion to move offshore by 2015.

He did not divulge how many of these jobs would come to India. In his firm’s assessment of the most attractive locations, India came out top, but its position was under pressure from other countries including Canada as a near-shoring location, and other South East Asia countries in the offshore.

He warned that in order for India to retain its top position it must ensure that infrastructure grew at the same rate as labour numbers as well as addressing staff attrition.
