Strategy and Technology consultants Booz Allen Hamilton this week announced the acquisition of the general management consulting assets of the former Gemini Consulting Japan (GCJ).

The firm expects Japan to be a growth area for consulting, since assignments to date have focussed on strategy development rather than the implementation of strategic decisions. Once implementation is accepted as the norm by Japanese executives, consulting revenues could multiply several-fold in the region.
Booz Allen’s Tokyo office will now be led by a team of eight vice presidents, with a comprehensive range of industry and functional expertise.
