The line-up of recruiters includes all of the “Big Four” firms, two of the fastest growing Indian consultancies and a huge range of major consulting brands like Accenture, IBM, PA Consulting and EDS.
Candidates attending the fair will be able to meet recruiters in person, gain insights from practising consultants at each of the firms – and attend presentations from many of the world’s leading consulting brands. Registrations from those wishing to attend are flooding in via the Consultancy Careers Fair website – which is being marketed by event partners including Vault.com, the Evening Standard, the Management Consultancies Association and the Institute of Management Consultancy.
Just like on university campuses, experienced hires attending the careers fair will be able to meet both HR team members and actual consulting staff from the consulting firms, to have questions answered in person and to assess what each firm can offer as an employer. On a first-come first-served basis, 130 candidates will also be able to watch presentations given by many of the top consulting brands. The schedule of presentations, announced today for the first time, reads like a who’s who of consulting firms:

Commenting on the line-up for the 2006 Consultancy Careers Fair, Top-Consultant.com Director Tony Restell stated:
“This year’s fair will have 50% more recruiters in attendance than the 2005 fair. That’s an incredible tribute to the success of last year’s fair – and also to the buoyant state of the recruitment market right now. Though it’s hard to put a figure on it, we expect several hundred consulting hires to result from firms’ participation in the 2006 fair. So for our readers, this has to represent one of the biggest career opportunities that the consulting sector has ever witnessed. It’s exciting just thinking of how many readers’ ambitions will be realised as a result of attending the fair. We can’t wait to be opening the doors and welcoming everyone in!”
