He will serve a term of three years.

The appointment follows Chris Outram’s stepping down as Chairman. Outram, who founded the firm in London in 1987, will now continue to work with clients as a partner of the firm. The firm said the replacement of the role of Chairman with that of a more empowered Managing Partner is a commitment to the international growth of OC&C.;

For Jary, 41, the appointment is the culmination of an 18-year career at the strategy consulting firm. Previously he was with Booz Allen Hamilton. For the past five years he has been the Managing Partner of the United Kingdom office of OC&C.;

Andy Guffick has been named to replace Jary as the Managing Partner of the United Kingdom office. Andy Guffick joined OC&C; in 1987 from Shell International.
