With Management Consultancy recruitment showing no signs of letting up following a summer of strong growth, candidates are being attracted to the sector in record numbers.
Consulting-Times E-zine
The specialist job site was used by a record 183,000 people this last month, up from the previous high of 157,000 people in September and an average of 100,000 people just a year ago*.

The growth in readership is staggering when compared with the mass-market job boards. Monster's latest UK figures show the site attracted 833,000 people in September, whilist – recently sold to Hotgroup plc for £6 million – reported at the time of the sale that it had around 500,000 users. The 183,000 readership Top-Consultant has achieved is extraordinary when compared with the figures reported by these mass-market sites, whose readerships must meet the recruitment needs of sectors spanning the whole economy – rather than just one vertical.

Top-Consultant Director Tony Restell commented “The candidate interest the site has seen in the last months puts paid to any suggestion that Management Consultancy is somehow a less attractive career option in the wake of the recent downturn. On the contrary – seeing leading consultancies from IBM to Sapient, Accenture to Booz Allen all now back in recruitment mode has stimulated an exceptional increase in candidate volumes and interest. Our next goal is to try and break through the 200,000 visitors barrier before our 5th birthday next Easter.”

Revenues at Top-Consultant have doubled each of the last two years and the current financial year is expected to produce similar results. “With management consultancy recruitment growing leaps and bounds, we have every expectation that business will double again this year too” concluded Restell.
