Booz Allen Hamilton has announced that David Schneider has been elected a vice president in the firm and will lead the firm's Enterprise Resilience service offering, focusing on homeland security for government clients and helping corporations improve performance, generate growth, and enhance shareholder value.

Schneider, 44, has a proven track record performing in the commercial market as a senior client partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and as the Chairman and CEO behind the successful turnaround of Nextera Enterprises, a publicly traded services firm. Prior to Nextera, he was the managing partner of PWC's Strategic Services Practice for North and South America and the firm's Global Leader of Strategic Planning. He also worked in the areas of strategy development, operations improvement, and organizational change for the high tech, entertainment, and aerospace industries.
Schneider's experience base is extremely broad and deep, both as a management consultant and senior business executive. “David's exceptional background and track record of success, plus his direct experience working on the CEO-agenda, will serve Booz Allen's clients well,” said Dr. Ralph W. Shrader, the firm's Chairman and CEO.
Schneider's educational background includes a MS in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering from the University of New Mexico, a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, and a BS in Chemistry from State University of New York. He is a leading author and speaker on subjects of organizational change, business resilience, and strategic transformation.
