CSC appoints Steve Sparling Vice President and Global Segment Leader within Technology and Consumer group
CSC has named Steve Sparling vice president and global segment lead responsible for CSC clients within the Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment industries. Sparling will report to Mary Jo Morris, president of CSC’s Technology and Consumer Group, and will be charged with leveraging CSC’s strengths in consulting, systems design and integration, managed hosting and outsourcing, while driving CSC’s portfolio of industry solutions.

Sparling has been with CSC for more than 7 years as partner and senior leader for CSC Global Business Solutions, with client and market focus in the communications industry serving CSC clients at AT&T, British Telecom, Cingular, MCI, GTE, Bell Atlantic, Verizon, Verizon Wireless and Verizon Business.
Prior to joining CSC, Sparling was a vice president for Answerthink, where he was instrumental in the startup of the firm and a key executive overseeing substantial revenue and earnings growth over five years. Sparling served several leadership roles at Answerthink; establishing the sales organization, developing a technical sales support role, managing several key service lines, and in developing the Key Account Model through which he managed two of Answerthink’s largest clients. Prior to Answerthink, Sparling was a partner with KPMG, served as a branch manager for IBM’s southeast business, and also served as CIO at Coulter Electronics, a $2B bio-medical manufacturing company.
Sparling graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
