  Phil Thistlethwaite has been promoted from the Asian operation to head up the entire Birchman Group.


Birchman Group names new CEO

Global IT consulting and solutions provider, Birchman Group, has appointed Phil Thistlethwaite as CEO of the company. An Australian, born in Manchester, Thistlethwaite successfully co-founded Birchman Asia Pacific. He is well-known within the industry for his specialised skills in helping businesses identify outcomes focused opportunities and in developing and implementing business change programmes. This work has been embraced by some of the best known leading brands, from the world’s second largest drinks company to Polaroid, KMPG, HBOS and IBM.

His new role will be to define and deliver Birchman’s growth and sustainability strategy and to ensure delivery of the company’s brand promise of straight forward, clear thinking, tailored outcomes.

As he says, “In today’s difficult business climate, delivering the right projects better, faster and cheaper than your competitor will create competitive advantage. But it’s not enough to copy your competitors. You also need to tailor the outcomes you deliver. My aim is for the Birchman Group to become the world’s leading outcomes based Consulting and Solutions provider.”
