CGI signs three-year BPO contract renewal
As part of the three-year agreement, CGI will continue to manage Medi-CareFirst’s Medicare Part D Member Call Center, member enrollment, billing services and provide document management services from CGI’s facility in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Over the last three years, CGI and Medi-CareFirst have developed and implemented a number of initiatives designed to improve member satisfaction. The results have been a reduction in the number of Prescriptions Drug Errors (PDEs) and a transition to a Per Member Per Month (PMPM) pricing model that is intended to help Medi-CareFirst better predict costs.
“We look forward to continuing our work with CGI over the next three years to help us address business challenges,” explained Dennis Cupido, Vice President of Operations, Medi-CareFirst. “CGI has demonstrated to us that they are committed to supporting our growth needs while working to help Medi-CareFirst maintain and lower expenses over time.”
Paul Raymond, Senior Vice-President of CGI’s North East and Commercial BPO business unit, added: “CGI is committed to creating innovative and flexible partnerships designed to improve the customer experience and reduce their Medicare Part D expenses. We look forward to continuing our work with Medi-CareFirst over the next three years.”
