Atos Origin ranks number 2 on French outsourcing market |

With revenues of 691 million euros in 2003 and annual growth of +4.5%, Atos Origin ranks second on the French outsourcing market, according to a survey conducted by Pierre Audoin Consultants.
The report "The French outsourcing market-Recent Changes and Perspectives for 2002-2006" considers Atos Origin to be one of the "two heavyweights" outsourcing players in France, with a market share of 15%.
The report highlights Atos Origin’s strong European capabilities and wide spectrum of offerings as some of its strengths.
Due to its recent merger with the Sema group, Atos Origin now enjoys a strong market position not only in France and the Netherlands, but also in the United Kingdom. Pierre Audoin believes the Group is very well positioned to address major European contracts.
Grouping together teams after the merger has enabled Atos Origin to broaden the scope of its outsourcing offerings, adding such services as consulting and expertise in the area of infrastructures.
The company has also developed infrastructure outsourcing, especially in desktop management and remote management services.
In the European Outsourcing ranking carried out by Pierre Audoin, Atos Origin is positioned number four in Europe behind IBM, EDS and T-Systems. |
